My favorite books
As a young boy my reading tastes were somewhat eclectic. I read and re-read Jack London's
The Call of the Wild. So too with The Gashouse Gang, the yarn about the St. Louis Cardinals of the 1930s. And there was a passage in one of S.J. Perelman's books about a "dentist with a forceps," that forced me to laugh out loud. Not an easy trick. How about you? AND WILL PEOPLE PLEASE START RESPONDING. When I figure out how to work this thing, I shall respond.

What other books influenced you? Call of the Wild isn't that good; anyway, did you know that Jack London was a Nietzschean?
