Jocularity

At the haunting, mysterious, plaintive and profound Yom Kippur we Jews just celebrated there is a call for jocularity in the year to come. For many years (still?) The Reader's Digest published a very popular section: Laughter: The Best Medicine. Bad Yiddish/American joke: Whatis the difference between a cynic and a stoic? A sin-uk is vat you vash duh dishes in. A stoh-ick is vat brings the babies. Beware: A pun is the lowest form of bakery. After a good open, the Stock Market closed down a tad. You get the good and the bad here.
