Finger Nails --- My Grand-father's and mine
My mother told me that as soon as I was born she looked at me, and at my finger-nails.
She gasped. Mine, she said, were identical to his.
Now: How can that be? Sure, genetics and all that, but it still blows my mind.
Confession: I do not know how the world works.
As Job said in the Old Testament book of that name: "It is beyond my ken."
Bill Safire, I believe, did a wonderful book about that rich, good, decent man upon whom misfortune fell --- with a thud.

Question to blog viewers: How do I determine that all my posts, the responses, the rebuttals and independent posts have indeed been saved to the blogosphere?

Huh? What do you mean by "saved"?
Your blog is hosted somewhere -- on a server. Whether or not your blog archive is available or not (is that what you mean) depends on how the old pages/entries are treated (stored), and on your level of service from whatever company hosts your blog.
The "blogosphere" is just a figurative term; it's not something you can save something "to" (on).
Why not just pay for a little professional help to setup and administer your scribbling here correctly?
