Mixed blessings.

I love all the the modern doo-dads, but am vastly frustrated by them.

Modernism complexifies things.

Used to be when you went to a movie, sat in a darkened theater, and perhaps thought thoughts.

Now, you watch a movie (Pleasantville right now) hold for a phone call (TIAA-CRF ... gone downhill) post to this blog, read a newspaper, all at the same time.

Good or bad?

Probably good.
