Culture Wars

I have been somewhat skeptical of the notion of "culture wars."

With all my new hi-tech doo-dads (and holed up for a while due to a Tropical non-storm) I am watching movies.

They all seem to be about people killing each other, fornicating, slithery animals and sharks.

The worst, by far, was Silence of the Lambs. Yuk.

The nicest thing I 've seen recently in Angels with Angles.

It concerns a fixed prize fight.

That's one reason I like watching sports.

Except last night I saw the one about the Chicago "Black Sox" who were bribed to lose a Worl Series.
