Media --- More

Because I love reviewing my life, and to keep my memory muscle as strong as I can, I have been printing up old slides.

One is of Sen. John McCain in New Hampshire in early 2000 aboard The Straight Talk Express, also called BS-1, by the press corps.

It was media event of the first magnitude: On the record, most all day and night long.

McCain visited every county in NH.

The picture I took shows a gaudy Christmas Tree, still up after the Holidays.

There is McCain, an authentic American hero, albeit a bit quirky. There is the Christmas Tree.
Surrounded, up and down and everywhere, by TV reels, sound booms, bright lights.

Desecration?

Perhaps so. Media Madness, surely.
