Ann Coulter + Comment

Click here: Plagiarists: Catch Your Own Clue -- In These Times

I do not know the specifics of this situation.

But Ann is a tough woman, who can infuriate some people.

Sad but true: Cindy Sheehan is indeed exploiting the the memory of her son who volunteered for the miltary.

It is not plagiarism when you re-cycle your own ideas. Re-cyclum, re-cyclum, re-cyclum, that's the free-lancers' marching song.

I've done it for decades.

About demographics (birth and fertility rates in apparent free-fall everywhere.)

About politics: Values Matter Most, the Social Issue, wedge issues (law 'n' order, crime in the streets, yada, yada, yada.)

Ben, Thanks for creating this blog and for having a great PBS program. I just finished reading Ann Coulter's book, Godless and believe that it should be added to the canon of Scripture. The lame charges of plagiarism is another attempt to discredit and defame her. A lot of what she said in her book is common knowlege. She just organized it and expressed it in a very interesting way. My understanding of plagiarism is borrowing someone else's original and particular ideas and presenting them as your own. I didn't think anything she said fell into that category. Again she just organized and presented information that is common knowlege in her own style of writing.

Yeah, but doubtless most who do so do not expect to be sent halfway across the world to attack a nation which poses no threat to the US, in a war that more resembles an international crime than a legitimate act of self-defense. And then left there to die in dribbles with no prospect of an end to it all.
