Election Day
Today is the Democratic primary day ("tantamount to election') in Washington D.C.
I love WashDC. I think it is the authentic capitol of the universe.
There is continual agitation to give DC electoral representation, and two Senators, somehow working it out to balance the swap with "safe" GOP seats.
I don't believe I favor that.
Constituional law explicitly denies DC the right to vote lest residents in the law-making seat of power have too much power. I'm for law 'n'order.
Everyone here knows that. Most can move a few minutes away to suburban MD or VA.
