Reagan's View of Sexy Movies...

President Ronald Reagan --- the alleged "Grade B" movie actor --- was no fan of the explicit new movies replete with sex and nudity. (He was a man who, I believe, who wrote about his forays into the fleshpots of Hollywood.) But he thought it best to leave sex to the viewer's imagination. The sexiest scenes, he believed, were left to the viewer's imagination. If a couple walked into a bedroom, and all the viewer saw was the doorknob turning shut --- it was plenty sexy --- as the viewer let his imagination run free. Baudelaire said: "To name is destroy;to suggest is to create." Not a good marching song for a blunt fellow like me. But I'm learning. (I'm not talking about sex --- at least not right now.
Best
Ben
