"The Natural"
I'm watching Robert Redfield in "The Natural" a somewhat mystical baseball novel by Bernard Malamud. It's a very good movie. Most people think Redfield is about 5'10" tall. I saw him once. He's about 5'5." I don't much like his politics, but he's a damn good actor, director, impressario.

I think The Natural is a great movie as well and probably the best baseball movie ever made (please dont bring up any of that Costner schlock.) The one problem I have with it is how does Hobbs go from being a great pitcher pre-gun shot to being a great hitter post-gun shot. I guess he was "the natural" but still that always bothered me.
