Joe Lieberman

I've known Joe Lieberman since he was a wunderkind teen-ager in Stamford Conn. He is more liberal than I, but when he says, "We are God's stewards of nature" --- he is as quite convincing as anyone I've met.
He is being challenged in the CT Democratic primary, by Ned Lamont --- a multi-millionaire from often-segregated Greenwich CT.
Joe says he'll run as an independent if he loses. I think he'd win in that.
If not President Bush should appoint him as either Secretary of State of Secretary of Defense.
