Not fun... tsk tsk

Veteran Members of Congress these days say it's "fun" anymore. Is that in the Constitution?

I think the most imporrtant line is in the preamble: "... to provide for the common defense."

No question: There is poison in the political air these days.

But it would be well to remember that shortly after the Republic was was founded the sitting Vice President (Aaron Burr) had a pistol duel with the former (great) Secretary of the Treasury Alexander Hamilton. In Weehawken NJ, Burr shot him dead.

I don't think we're going to see that again...

Anyway, it might well take one score and seven years to adjudicate.
