I living color... Memory games

I play pool. Only fairly well.

It's a great game that takes wits, stamina and strategy. You can gamble on it and get a rush.
Hint: If you like gambling do it so that if you win or lose it means something. But set a limit, lest it hurt too much.

When I live in Las Vegas for about a month in 1952 working as beat reporter on the Las Vegas Review-Journal I would pay my motel rent in advance; buy a $10 meal ticket, and have fun.

I'm watching Paul Newman, Piper Laurie, Goerge C. Scoot and Jackie Gleason in The Hustler.

I have vivid memories of it in color: the green felt, the smoky rooms.

It's in black and white!
