Techo-devils

Mr. A,

Thanks muchly for your help.

I have worked with type for almost sixty years.

I know what flush right and flush left mean.

I always thought Dom Casual would be a laid-back Italian guy.

I send 'em out right.

Something, somewhere, screws it up.

We are indeed making progress on linking to others, in just the manner you described.

In theory, however, it seems to me that if the Webmaster, or some tekkie/journo at The Austrailian sees that items are coming in from my blog, the WebMas might contact me.

Is that correct?

Ben

You have asked this question for months. I'm surprised no one has figured it out for you yet. Can you ask your crack assistant to find out how to add links to your blog? You can add as many links on your own weblog as you want. You have to modify the web page yourself though. You need to ask someone who is familiar with the blog software to do this for you if you can't do it yourself. If you find such a person who can do this for you, all you need to do is provide them with a list of the websites you want to appear on your own website and tell them to code them into your blog. It's simple. You just need to ask someone in your circle if they have the knowhow to do it. It won't cost you anything and you don't have to ask permission. The flip side of this is, if you want your blog to be listed on someone ELSE's website you will have to individually negotiate that with them.

Also your blog is really hard to read because everything is centered. Left justified text is standard and really the only way to print anything in English. When you find the right person to modify your blog for the links you want it to carry, ask them to look into why everything is centered. It looks terrible.

Sure he might contact you, if he wanted to ask your permission to list your blog on his website. But he wouldn't need to contact you in order to do that and I doubt he would. And you don't need his permission to list his website on your blog.

Six Arab states join rush to go nuclear
Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, UAE and Saudi Arabia seek atom technology

THE SPECTRE of a nuclear race in the Middle East was raised yesterday when six Arab states announced that they were embarking on programmes to master atomic technology.

The move, which follows the failure by the West to curb Iran’s controversial nuclear programme, could see a rapid spread of nuclear reactors in one of the world’s most unstable regions, stretching from the Gulf to the Levant and into North Africa.

The countries involved were named by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) as Algeria, Egypt, Morocco and Saudi Arabia. Tunisia and the UAE have also shown interest.
