Giants... nah...
I met recently a former NBA star forward. He was 6'11" tall. That's tall.
Sometimes these guys are regarded just as giants, on the court because they are big.
Not so. They are graceful, disciplined and tough. They are just big men, not intimidating in face-to-face encounters.
I do wish they would raise the baskets to 12-feet,. Dr. Naismith's game was designed to played beneath the rim.
Same with soccer. I bet adding three inches to the the left, right and top posts would triple the score. No more of these 0-0 game decided by a penalty kick.
That's un-American.
