Dear Ben,

As Russell Kirk said: "conservative is an adjective, not a noun". Don't throw out the baby with the bathwater.The Democrats are saying the country is going to Hell in a handbasket despite the glowing economy. The self-styled conservatives are screaming about creeping socialism despite the glowing economy.I guess all this folderol is just part of the process but I just can't help but snicker at most of it.
