Every nation has...

Click here: Unwritten history - The Boston Globe

Every nation has it's own history, which it cherishes.

The Jews/Hebrews, as I understand it, have had at least some people in Israel/Judea/Samaria over 4,000 years, including conquest, deportation and so on.

Recent archeaolgy tends to bear this out.

But some nations do go out of business. I do not believe there are Hittites or Amelkites any longer.

I think the Palestinians pretty well disappeared after Phoenicia went down.

That is why they have been called an "artificial nation" --- a charge also leveled (unjustly, I think) against Israel.

American like solutions to problems. This one will probably go on, and on, and on.

But the Israelis, with all their flaws, have demonstrated that will fight for their land and their folk.
