Tierney's piece in Thurday's 08/08/06 paper was entitled Sinful Second Homes.
He notes that big time greenies --- Al Gore, Robert Redford, John Kerry, Ted Kennedy have vast second or third homes , jet around the world, and emit greenhouse gases in huge quantities.
He could add population alarmist Paul Ehrlich.
