Dick Cheney
Vice President Dick Cheney has come in for heavy doses of criticism recently.
But he is one tough hombre --- and knows that if you can't stand the heat --- get out of the kitchen.
He is probably the most experienced man ever to serve as V.P --- with the possible exception of LBJ.
Cheney denies it vigorously --- but I have seen stranger things happen --- he may run for President in 2008 !!!

Cheney for VP? The most hated man in America? I think even poor old Pat Buchanan has a better chance of winning.
Really? Worse than baby rapists or serial killers?
Actually Cheney has been a very popular political man over the years.
Of course, if you knew how the Iraq war would turn out, you might have a case.

Do recall that war Presidents A. Lincoln and Harry Truman were much reviled while in office --- and historians now rank them very highly.
